The Drawing Session is an opportunity for artists to convene, create, and receive and offer critiques. Sessions will feature live models with diverse bodies provided by LHUCA. Session participants will meet in LHUCA's Graffiti Building located in the northeast corner of the Plaza at 1 PM. Parking is available on Ave J and in the LHUCA gallery parking lot. Please arrive on time to respect the privacy of models and present your email confirmation upon arrival. There are tables, chairs, and a limited number of easels available for use. Please plan to bring your own materials for the Figure Drawing Session. **Session Rules** The model is a contract worker hired by LHUCA who performs a challenging and tremendously important service. Without their efforts, artists would have little opportunity to develop and sustain life drawing skills. Artists must always treat the model respectfully and are strictly prohibited from: o photographing or videoing the model; o touching the model or encroaching on their personal space; o making remarks (whether positive or negative) about the model’s body or appearance; o asking the model personal questions or asking them for personal information. If an artist violates these rules, they will be dismissed from the session and may be barred from future admission. Registrants must bring their own materials and must be 18+.
